Apparently, we REALLY don't care about deficits anymore

So our amazing compromise is:

1. Suspend the debt ceiling entirely for one year (possibly 2, still under debate);

2. More military spending;

3. More domestic spending;

4. Tax cuts for everyone and everything under the Sun.

I am having this image of Obama either just laughing or creaming at the utter shear hypocrisy of the Republicans who made budget planning Hell for 8 years, gambled with the debt ceiling, yakked about how we could not trust the President with an unlimited credit card, yadda yadda yadda are now spending money like drunk sailors on leave.
