Altered Carbon was pretty decent

I spent Sunday binge watching Altered Carbon (and doing an annoying wireless panel at 9:30 a.m.).  Turned out to be quite interesting -- although lots of gratuitous nudity and violence. 

The show is actually one of the more thorough attempts at world-building I've seen recently, in that it really tries to think through how society would evolve given the major technology thingie.

Trying not to spoil it. But it was pretty good despite the Game of Thrones level body count and bare bosoms.

I'm rereading the books, and finding that most of the changes made for TV were good ones.
