People in W. VA were shocked and amazed when the FCC found that 7 counties in W.VA had 100% coverage by at least 1 provider offering 25/3 fixed broadband (the official definition of broadband), with several more counties at almost 100% penetration.

"We kept trying to build our own broadband," said one relieved resident. "We didn't realize the broadband was inside us along along. God bless you President Trump, and FCC Chair Ajit Pai."

Now that W.VA is "served" rather than "unserved," it is no longer eligible for several federal grants. 

"I guess we can pay for our imaginary broadband with all that imaginary money."
