Maybe We Are Alone.

New work on Fermi's Paradox suggests that the most likely case is that we are the only intelligent civilization in the galaxy.

Mind you, another explanation is that radio communication is a very primitive mode of communication that we (and other civilizations) outgrow really quickly. If the rest of the galaxy is communicating by subspace radio or quantum entanglement or something we would never notice.
